Label Architecture is an architectural practice based in Brussels. Its three partners, Jean-Didier Bergilez (b. 1974), Michel Lefèvre (b. 1978) and Thibaut Rome (b. 1977), officially opened their agency in October 2004...(read more on their website)
Label Architecture curated the Belgian Pavilion at the Xth Architecture Biennale in Venice. Their show is called La Beauté Ordinaire (Ordinary Beauty) and looks at the infra-ordinary in Belgian landscapes. PleaseLetMeDesign worked on the catalogue and it's gutgood. The idea, as mentionned on Renaud Huberlant's blog, was to create a pocket size catalogue to emphasize the big amount of texts. Is it a trend but the recent catalogue for the Design Products Department at the Royal College (designed by Jonathan Hares) and the catalogue for the Comédie Theater in Clermont (designed by Antoine&Manuel) also use the pocket size (11x17cm approx.).
